Saturday, July 21

8 AM Meeting with all volunteers
9 AM All block teams in place
9 AM –11 AM Assist with placement of barriers, tables, garbage cans, porta potties, signs and banners, stage setup, PA setup, vendors, car removal,
11 AM – 1 PM Assist vendors to find and place tables
1 PM – 3 PM Assist guests, vendors, monitor security, safety, pick up garbage,
3 PM – 5 PM Assist guests, vendors, monitor security, safety, pick up garbage
5 PM – 7 PM Assist vendors, set out more chairs, if necessary, monitor security, safety, pickup garbage
7 PM – 11 PM Assist participants, monitor security, safety, pick up garbage
11 PM – 8 AM Monitor security of the street overnight

Sunday, July 22

8 AM Meeting with all volunteers
9 AM All block teams in place
9 AM – 11 AM Check the setup of the stret and reset anything needing it.
11 AM – NOON Assist vendors to find and place tables
NOON – 3 PM Assist guests, vendors, monitor security, safety, pick up garbage,
3 PM – 6 PM Assist guests, vendors, monitor security, safety, pick up garbage
6 PM – 8 PM Remove tables, and chairs, clean up street, bin all garbage, set out recycling and organic garbage at curb for city, return equipment to L&M,
Some time in August (tent.) Wrap party somewhere.

Set-up
Set out barriers
Set out garbage cans
Set out tables
Set out chairs

Assistance
Help vendors find their tables
Help with any vendor problems
Help vendors who want to pack up at 6:00
Help people find tables and chairs to eat at

Garbage
Clean up garbage on the street, put into appropriate cans
When full, take garbage bags out of cans to roll off bins
Remove bags from recycling bins to sidewalk
Make sure the street is clean at the end of the festival
Move all garbage bins to pickup point
Make sure nobody dumps their outside trash in the bins

General Safety
Watch for any safety problems on the street

General security
Watch for any security problems on the street

Cleanup
(this is the most important part)
Move tables and chairs off the street for pickup
Move barriers off the street for pickup
